How It Works

How to Loop a Video in 3 Steps

1

Drop a video

Drag an MP4, MOV or WebM onto the left pane. Keep the whole clip, or narrow the Start/End sliders to just the moment you want to repeat.

2

Set the repeat count

In Settings choose 2× to 10×. The Settings badge shows how long the output will be so you know what to expect.

3

Loop and download

Click Loop video. The selection plays back to back while it is encoded into one file, then appears on the right ready to download.

FAQ

Video Looper — Frequently Asked Questions

Is my video uploaded anywhere?

No. The clip is decoded by your browser's own video player, redrawn onto a canvas and re-encoded with the MediaRecorder API — all on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.

Is the loop seamless?

The repeats are joined frame-to-frame with no gap or fade. If your start and end frames differ a lot you will see a cut at each repeat; trim to a point where motion matches, or use the Video Reverser's Boomerang mode for a perfectly smooth back-and-forth loop.

How long can the result be?

Output length is selection × repeats, and encoding runs in real time, so a 30-second clip at 10× means about five minutes of waiting with the tab visible. Shorter selections make better loops anyway.

Which format do I get?

MP4 (H.264) in Chrome, Edge and Safari; WebM (VP9/VP8) in Firefox. The output badge shows the container and size. Need another format? Run the result through our Video Converter.

Can I loop a GIF instead?

GIFs already loop forever in every browser. If you want a video that loops, convert the GIF with our GIF to Video tool first, then repeat it here.
