How It Works

How to Make a GIF from Images in 3 Steps

1

Add images

Drop two or more JPG, PNG or WebP files onto the left pane (you can add more later). They appear in a list — use the arrows to reorder and × to remove.

2

Set the pace

In Settings choose how long each frame shows (100 ms for animation, 1–2 s for a slideshow), how images of different sizes are fitted, and whether the GIF loops.

3

Make and download

Click Make GIF. Encoding takes a second or two; preview the result on the right and download it.

FAQ

Images to GIF Maker — Frequently Asked Questions

Is my GIF uploaded anywhere?

No. The GIF is decoded frame by frame in your browser and re-encoded on your device with a small open-source encoder. Nothing leaves your computer.

Can I mix portrait and landscape images?

Yes. The output takes the first (or largest) image's size; the others are letterboxed on a transparent background or cropped to fill, whichever you choose in Settings.

How many images can I use?

There is no fixed cap, but GIF files grow quickly — 30 full-size photos make a large file. Use the Max width setting to keep it shareable.

Why are the colours slightly different?

GIF only allows 256 colours per frame. A palette is built from your images, which is fine for graphics and most photos; gradients and skies may show slight banding.

Can I use one delay per image?

Not yet — one delay applies to every frame. Open the result in the GIF Speed Changer if you want to adjust overall speed afterwards.
