How to Play Flappy Bird in 3 Steps
Flap to start
Press Space or ↑, click, or tap the board. Every flap gives the bird a small upward push; gravity does the rest.
Thread the pipes
Each pair of pipes has a gap — fly through it to score a point. Easy has wide gaps and slow pipes; Hard is tight and quick.
Beat your best
Touching a pipe, the ground or the ceiling ends the run. Your best score per difficulty is stored on this device only.

Flappy Bird — Frequently Asked Questions
How do I flap?
Press Space or ↑, click the board with a mouse, or tap it on a touchscreen. Short, regular taps are easier to control than long gaps between flaps.
Why does the bird feel heavy?
Gravity pulls constantly while each flap only sets a fixed upward speed, exactly like the original. Flap a little earlier than feels natural and aim for the lower half of each gap.
What changes between difficulties?
Easy widens the gap and slows the pipes; Hard narrows the gap and speeds them up. Pipe heights are random on all three.
Where is my best score saved?
Only in your browser's localStorage under the key toolity_flappy, separately per difficulty. Nothing is sent anywhere; Reset or clearing site data removes it.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes — tap anywhere on the board to flap. The board is portrait, scales to your screen, and the game pauses by itself when you switch apps.
