How to Embed a World Clocks Widget in 3 Steps
Add cities
Pick zones from the list (it adds a line) or type Region/City | Label. Two to six clocks; the first one is treated as “home”.
Tune it
12 or 24-hour, dates, seconds, cards or a compact single row. Set your working day and the overlap bar shows the hours when every city is at work.
Embed
Copy the URL into Notion with /embed; the clocks tick live in the visitor’s browser.
World Clocks Widget — Frequently Asked Questions
How do I embed this widget in Notion?
Click Copy in the toolbar to copy the embed URL, open your Notion page, type /embed, paste the link and press Enter. Drag the block handles to fit your column.
Does it handle daylight saving?
Yes — times come from the browser’s IANA time-zone database via Intl.DateTimeFormat, so DST changes apply automatically.
What does the overlap bar show?
Each city’s working day (the hours you set, in its local time) drawn on a 24-hour strip in the home city’s time; the highlighted band is where all of them overlap — the window for a meeting everyone can attend.
Why is a city tinted dark?
Clocks between 18:00 and 06:00 local get a night tint so you can see at a glance who is asleep.
Where are my settings saved?
Every setting is encoded in the embed URL itself. No account or database is needed, and the link keeps working on any device.
Does the embedded widget track visitors?
No. The /embed/ page loads no analytics or third-party scripts and runs entirely in the visitor's browser.
