How It Works

How to Play Solitaire in 3 Steps

1

Build descending alternating columns

In the 7 tableau columns, stack cards downward in alternating colours (red on black, black on red). Only a King can fill an empty column.

2

Send Aces up to the four foundations

The four top-right foundations build upward by suit from Ace to King. With smart click on, clicking a card sends a single card to its foundation or a legal tableau column in one tap.

3

Flip every face-down card to unlock Auto-finish

Draw from the top-left stock when stuck (D). As soon as all face-down tableau cards are turned over, the Auto-finish button appears to sweep every remaining card home.

FAQ

Solitaire — Frequently Asked Questions

How does one-click smart move decide where a card goes?

For a single top card, it checks if a tableau column (preferring non-empty columns over empty spaces for Kings) or its suit’s foundation can take it; clicking a deeper face-up card moves the whole run starting at that card to a legal tableau column. You can still select-then-click manually if two destinations are legal.

What is the difference between Draw 1 and Draw 3?

Draw 1 turns over one stock card at a time, making most deals winnable. Draw 3 turns over three cards in a fan where only the top card is playable — the classic harder rule.

When does Auto-finish appear?

The moment the stock and waste are empty (or all remaining cards are face-up in the tableau), every deal is trivially won; pressing Auto-finish animates the rest of the cards up to the foundations.

Is every deal guaranteed winnable?

Deals use a true 52-card Fisher–Yates shuffle, matching classic Windows Solitaire — roughly 80% of Draw 1 deals are theoretically solvable.

Is anything uploaded or tracked while I play?

No. The game runs entirely in your browser tab. Your best score or win tally is saved only in your browser’s localStorage and cleared when you press Reset.
