FAQ

Countdown Timer Widget — Frequently Asked Questions

How do I embed this Countdown Timer in Notion?

Set your target date and event title, click Copy in the toolbar, then type /embed on your Notion page and paste the URL. The live countdown loads immediately.

How do time zones work for shared countdowns?

If you select a specific time zone (such as Asia/Kolkata or America/New_York), every visitor counts down to that exact moment worldwide. If left on Visitor's local time, it counts down to that wall-clock time in each viewer's own time zone.

Does the embedded countdown track visitors?

No. The /embed/ page contains no analytics or tracking scripts and calculates the remaining time 100% locally in the browser.

Can I change the target date or colours later?

Yes. Click the Customise link on the embedded widget or paste your existing embed URL into the Paste existing widget URL box on this page to edit and copy an updated URL.
